I have a 2017 gtr 230 with 39 hrs on it and after this 2018 summer season I noticed some cracking in the gel coat on the top side of the hull but absolutely no impact marks or scratches so I made a warranty claim with my dealer gvp Langley ( who are excellent to deal with and by no means part of the problem) they looked at the damage and agreed that it was not caused by impact but a problem with the gel coat they put forward a claim to seadoo and it was denied them saying that the damage must be caused by impact . My dealer went back and forth with seadoo about the issue as the tech I was talking to has a lot of knowledge about gel coating to no avail seadoo would not fix the problem so I called customer service my self To try and get some answers and was told the once the warranty department makes there desision that it is final and they do not talk to customers and sorry but they cannot do anything for me .

It is unfortunate that brp is obviously a company that can’t stand behind there product I have 3 seadoos and pre ordered a 4 th for this 2019 season as well I have had seadoo boat and just ordered a can am defender max xmr witch I told the customer service about but I guess customer loyalty doesn’t make any difference to this company. I think I will be canceling my orders and trying Yamaha
